Redheads with green eyes should try eggplant mascara. Don’t go for the shocking purple you see everywhere now or it will look too theatrical for everyday wear. Make Up Forever smoky lash is a nice tint, as is Benefit’s BADgal plum. It looks gorgeous during the day, preferred to evening when you should stick to black.
Of course you can always wear it with any color eyes, but the plum tint really makes green eyes stand out.
What a concept, a whisky and sushi bar. On the corner of Folsom and 14th is Nihon Whisky Lounge which serves a variety of spirits (whisky of course), cocktails and wine. Bartenders know their stuff and can recommend the best drinks for those who are inexperienced whisky drinkers.
It has an old world sexy vibe, a bit like a speakeasy, dimly lit with a lounge like feel making it excellent for a date destination.

I’m obsessed with monogram pendants these days. I found this one on Etsy by Ottava Designs. They were very specific with me about what design I wanted and the shipping was quick! It was a 3-4 day turnaround. Try this. Buy the large pendant and the small, create different fonts for each and overlay them for a unique and charming look!
When it comes to monogram jewelry, it can be very tacky, or very stylish. I was looking all over for a circle gold pendant monogram necklace. There seems to be a lot of smaller disks, but I was on the lookout for a large one.
This was my favorite for a few reasons. First, you can choose 4 sizes ranging from a small 7/8″ size to a 2″ size. Second you have the choice of how you want to anchor the chain, classic style, or modern style that hooks on the two top corners of the pendant to hold it in place.
I chose the classic, because I don’t mind if the necklace does not stay put. This is a piece you will wear forever. The one shown below is 1.5″ which in my opinion is the perfect size.
Dear stitch fix,
I think we may need to break up. You see, I think about you all the time. Once a month, I wait for your return at my front doorstep. My heart pounds in my chest, and I can barely contain myself from tearing you apart. You are stunning. Your carefully chosen materials that you’ve hand picked just for me. You know my body inch by inch and you rarely make a mistake. Sometimes, when you’ve been traveling too much you can be careless and lazy, and I need to get you back on track. But you take direction so well, that it only builds excitement for your next visit. You have made me a better person. People notice me more. You have given me things I never thought I was capable of. But this arrangement can only break my heart. I fear you will leave me soon. For now, I’m counting the days until your next visit.
