Women with luminous glowing skin are the envy of all of us. And at my age, your skin sometimes looks tired and dull. If you have ever wondered how to get glowing skin, this is an instant remedy, and it works.

I was flipping through a magazine and came across an article about how to layer your face creams, beginning with a vitamin enriched serum up until the last, your sunscreen. I tried it and the rumor is true. It makes your face instantly luminous. If you are totally confused where to start, here is a good general rule. Start with the lightest product and work your way up to the heaviest.

I’m not endorsing any one product, this is just what I had in my arsenal. The trick is to wait about 2-3 minutes in between each product to give it a chance to do it’s stuff. You can layer up to 6 at a time!

First, I started with SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF which I have been loyal to for a couple of years. It’s packed with vitamin C and good for some of us skin damaged redheads. Yeah it’s pricey, but it will last several months. Keep it in a cool place (not where you shower). Use a few drops 4-6 and it absorbs immediately.

Second, I tried Fresh Seaberry moisturizing face oil. I love this stuff. I started with the travel size just to make sure I liked it. It smells great gives you an instant glow and gives your skin a quick drink. I use it all the time, especially with make-up to smooth out my skins texture. And affordable at a $50 price tag.

Third, I’ve been using Bio-Cream by Neocutis, which is a restorative face cream recommended by my skin lady. I think it’s pretty good stuff, and again a little goes a long way. But, when it comes to moisturizer I’m not loyal to any one product so use what you like.

Finally, layer on a sunscreen with moisturizer, like Anthelios SX 15, or better, 30.
